Nashville-based nonprofit Littlestone Group will be hosting a brand new residential education, college prep program for extremely special high school musicians considering a career or college major/minor in music [called Littlestone Summer Music Festival]. World class professional musicians and college level educators from Nashville, Memphis, New York, Chicago, and St. Louis will be directing students in a week of professional level rehearsals, classes, and lessons, with nightly performances for residents and visitors of Martin, Tennessee. Courses of study include jazz, opera, musical theatre, songwriting, composition, wind ensemble, choir & a cappella, world music, music theory, instrumental techniques, chamber music, drama and much more. This one-of-a-kind program is designed to challenge the culture, ability, and intellect of Tennessee’s most creative young minds and give them the tools to lead happy, healthy lives.
